  • Implement responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
  • Collaborate with researchers and designers to ensure findings inform design decisions
  • Advocate for user‑centred solutions and guide developers on usability and front‑end best practices
  • Coach and collaborate with back‑end engineers to achieve optimal usability and accessibility outcomes

As a UI Designer, You Will:

  • Tackle complex design challenges and transform them into intuitive, easy‑to‑use interfaces
  • Clearly communicate design intent through user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications
  • Apply design systems, standards, and principles with a strong attention to detail

As a Front End Developer, You Will:

  • Translate designs, wireframes, and proofs of concept into high‑quality, maintainable front‑end code
  • Work closely with developers to problem‑solve and optimise designs during implementation
  • Deliver accessible, responsive user interfaces that meet usability and performance standards

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working within an existing design system or style guide
  • Hands‑on experience with ReactJS and/or Angular

  • Proven experience translating usability testing outcomes into practical UI improvements
  • Solid knowledge and application of WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Guidelines (Level AA minimum)
  • Experience implementing responsive, accessible UI components for web applications

Desirable Experience

  • Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Axure
