What are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled and solutions-oriented Front-End Developer with strong experience in modern JavaScript frameworks and spatial mapping libraries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of React, performance optimization, and integration of geospatial data into web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build responsive, efficient, and visually compelling user interfaces.

What are you expected to do?

• Develop and maintain complex front-end applications using React (functional components, hooks, state management).
• Integrate spatial mapping tools such as Mapbox, Google Maps API, or Esri into web applications.
• Optimize application performance across various browsers and devices, including code profiling and build optimization (e.g., WebPack, Lighthouse).
• Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews.
• Utilize Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Develop within cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS Amplify, S3, CloudFront).

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have at least 3–5 years of experience developing production-level applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• You have advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with React, including efficient use of hooks, state/store patterns, and performance tuning.
• You have proven ability to integrate and work with geospatial mapping libraries (Mapbox, Google Maps API, Esri, etc.).
• You have a deep understanding of responsive web design principles and accessibility best practices.
• You have experience profiling and optimizing web app performance using modern tooling.
• You have familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL integration patterns.
• You have experience working in Agile development environments and using Git-based workflows.

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

• You have an understanding of geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, and KMZ.
• You have an exposure to telecom or utility network planning and infrastructure workflows.
• You have familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• You have experience with server-side rendering (SSR), React Query, or Redux for state management.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

• There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
• We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
• If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
