  • Implement automated testing for components using Playwright or similar frameworks.
  • Establish best practices for versioning, theming, and extensibility of the design system.

Product Feature Development (20%)

  • Contribute to front-end development for CodeFusion Studio, a VS Code-based platform for embedded software development.
  • Integrate design system components into the product UI to deliver a cohesive experience.
  • Work closely with product designers and engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Collaboration & Quality

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality.
  • Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay current with front-end trends and advocate for improvements in tooling and workflow.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of front-end development experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in React (or a similar framework e.g angular, vue etc) and TypeScript.
  • Design System Knowledge: Understanding of component-driven development and scalable UI architecture.
  • Software Engineering Practices: Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern development workflows.
  • Source Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex UI issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing for a design system or component library.
  • Experience using Lit Element or similar library for building Web Components
  • Experience using Storybook for component documentation.
