Columbus Oncology is looking for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, and as such, should be friendly, helpful, and professional at all times. This position's primary duties will include registering patients, verifying insurance information, and collecting co-payments and fees.
Essential Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients in a high-volume office.
- Verify demographic information including adding insurance plans, collecting co-payments, and collecting patient balances.
- Balances daily co-payment sheets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year medical front desk experience.
- Experience in balancing/reconciling daily receipts.
- Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of HIPPA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
