The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Associate to join our Primary Care team! As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Qualities That Make You A Great Fit: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
  • Experience in a medical office setting preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
