The Role

Responsibilities :

JOB FUNCTION

As a member of Lexmark’s Managed Print Services (MPS) organization, the French Speaking Deployment Project Coordinator (DPC) will work as a member of a team to deploy printers/MFPs and/or take over management of existing devices for new and existing customers in French-speaking locations.  Projects could range in size from a few hundred devices to thousands.  The DPC will work with various Lexmark departments and external transportation partners to place hardware orders and track/manage deliveries according to the project schedule.  The DPC may also interface with customer personnel and installation technicians to coordinate delivery, installation, returns, and disposal activities and to gather device data, and installation-relation information.  The DPC will own recording and maintaining the data needed to track all devices from shipment through acceptance, for the purposes of inventory reconciliation and to ensure that all installed devices are setup in Lexmark’s asset management system. 

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

  • Assist Project Manager (PM) in all phases of Implementation for French MPS customers
  • Manage Siebel Service Requests and exceptions.
  • Place orders and monitor orders/shipments to ensure delivery according to project schedule.
  • Manage customer return orders as well as pickup & disposal of old devices.
  • Work with internal supply chain personnel, transportation carriers, disposal partners, and installation partners to coordinate service delivery, gather data, and resolve issues in French language
  • Work with customer personnel/Installation Partner on gathering data for existing assets, confirm deliveries, and other general assistance as directed by PM in French
  • Track in Siebel detailed order-to-invoice & returns data for all equipment shipped/returned/ disposed, as required invoicing customer, managing inventory, and reporting daily project status. 
  • Proactively support the Lexmark internal or external PM in identifying and reconciling inventory discrepancies in French
  • Escalate issues promptly and proactively work with internal stakeholders (some of them located in France) to avoid/mitigate future issues. 
  • Document all meeting data as appropriate; provide regular status reports to all team members, client, and internal management as directed by the PM.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to management on the performance measurement, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction areas of the project (e.g. delivery timeliness)
  • Assist in training/supporting new PM’s and PC’s. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience preferred in hardware deployments, order management and Logistics
  • Supply Chain experience and understanding
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a project scope and resources
  • Experience with working with French PMs and customers
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Language: Fluent Business English + Fluent Business French
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excel skills are particularly important (pivot tables, data reconciliation)
  • Experience with SAP and/or Siebel is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, data reconciliation and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented and self-starter
  • Individual must demonstrate a high level of business acumen; ability to get along well with diverse personalities - flexible
  • High levels of natural and intentional organization capabilities
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.  Mindset that enables solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment while delivering on service promises.
