We are looking for a highly motivated Freelance Webflow Developer to support our marketing site and internal marketing team. The candidate must be a nimble, solution-oriented developer who understands both site and search optimizations and has a good understanding of the digital-native, mobile-led health and wellness landscape.
Our Freelance Webflow Developer will contribute to all aspects of the UX/UI, build and maintenance of our marketing (front end) website through: implementation and development, responsive design and build, and testing and quality assurance.
You are:
- Skilled in Webflow development, with a strong portfolio showcasing projects implemented with Webflow
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to customize code within the Webflow environment
- Experienced with responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Familiar with SEO best practices and website optimization from a developer's perspective (page speed optimization, clean code, metadata implementation, etc.)
- Detail-oriented but nimble, able to quickly tackle problems large and small and find solutions
- An excellent communicator and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Able to meet deadlines with fast turnaround times (1-7 days, depending on the task) and can commit to 10-20 hours per month, based on project needs
You will:
- Translate design mockups into fully functional and interactive websites using Webflow's design and development features ensuring responsiveness and performance
- Implement custom code and integrations as needed to enhance website functionality and search optimizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketers, to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals
- Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into Webflow builds from a development perspective (e.g., metadata, schema markup, site speed)
- Collaborate with marketing on opportunities to improve on-page and technical SEO to maximize organic traffic and conversion
- Optimize website design for various devices and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience across platforms
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any design or functionality issues, ensuring a flawless end product
Preferred qualifications
- Webflow Certification or relevant certifications
- Experience with other web development frameworks or platforms
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Previous experience in virtual health care is a plus
