Freelance Quality Assurance - Immediate Joiner

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Freelancer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team on a project basis. As a QA Freelancer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our software applications, websites, or digital products before their release to end-users. Your expertise in identifying and reporting bugs, conducting comprehensive tests, and providing actionable feedback will contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

·         Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop test plans, and define test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

·         Test Execution: Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, and compatibility testing, to validate the software or digital product against specified requirements.

·         Bug Detection and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects or anomalies using bug tracking systems (Jira). Clearly communicate issues, including steps to reproduce, to the development team for resolution.

·         Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, test data, and test results, to facilitate the testing process and ensure repeatability.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and effective collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.

·         Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and support the development of automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools.

·         Quality Assurance Standards: Adhere to industry best practices and quality assurance standards to deliver high-quality products and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

·         Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

·         Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including experience with manual testing and test automation.

·         Strong Knowledge: Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.

·         Technical Skills: Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Familiarity with bug tracking systems, version control systems, and test management tools.

·         Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex software systems, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.

·         Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow test plans and document test results accurately.

·         Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate issues and collaborate effectively with the development team.

·         Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly learn new technologies or tools as required
