Job Description

Junior copywriter job responsibilities and duties

• Synthesize assignments and write copy for a variety of marketing assets such as landing pages, email series, display ads, social media posts and more
• Collaborate with other copywriters, designers and cross-functional partners to work efficiently and produce work that meets the ask
• Ability to work on a weekly sprint schedule to quickly turn around assignments
• Ability to understand and apply best practices across all marketing channels to their work
• Juggle multiple assignments at once while still hitting deadlines

What you'll bring to this role

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a copywriter in a similar role
• Proficient in MS Office, Jira and Figma
• Experience working with tech brands or within education is preferred but not required
• A positive and flexible can-do attitude for the ever-changing tech landscape
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; your work should consistently be typo-free and grammatically sound
• Knowledge of basic SEO techniques
• Proficient in creating concepts and copy for social media channels, with knowledge of trending content
