nuuds is seeking an experienced Freelance Fashion Designer to join our team on a 4-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in fashion and technical design, with a proven track record of over 5 years in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- 5 years of previous experience within the fashion industry preferably in women's wear cut and sew.
- Highly proficient with Adobe Illustrator.
- Creative, driven, self-motivated designer.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and trends.
- Knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrication, and trim.
- Excellent organization, communication, teamwork & follow Up Skills
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Strong color sense & Color Matching ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
Qualifications
- Create detailed flat illustrator sketches for presentations to product development team and buyers.
- Research and identify trend directions; perform competitive analysis; pull and review fabrics, design concepts, presentation boards for meetings, mock-ups, color-ups, and inspirational photos.
- Prepare concept boards for presentation meetings.
- Work collaboratively with Design, Sales and Production teams.
- Display extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Employment is Freelance only. 4 month contract only.
