EVP, Exec Director (Freelancer)

Golin Chicago is looking for a temporary EVP. This role will have the opportunity to demonstrate social-first conceptual thinking, copy, and best practices for digital and social platforms. 

What You’ll Do:

• Create and develop engaging longform content such as contributed articles and blog posts.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather detailed information and insights for in-depth content.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance in all materials.
• Edit and refine content to maintain clarity, coherence, and consistency.
• Ensure alignment with brand voice in all communications.
• Work closely with the creative team – designers, producers, copywriters – to ensure we’re creating thumb stopping content and heart stopping ideas.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years’ creative experience in advertising, public relations, or social. Knowledge of earned media is a plus.
• Internet fluency. You know the ins and outs of social media, speak the language of the internet, have gone down YouTube rabbit holes for multiple hours in a row, have uploaded multiple TikTok videos and have explored without fear the inner depths of Reddit.

Please note: We are open to considering qualified remote candidates in other locations.

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations. Hourly rate: $175/hour.

We are looking for someone who can join us in a Freelance capacity and can commit to up to 20 hours per week.
