Role:
Strike is looking to hire a Fraud Operations Specialist with experience in handling suspicious accounts in a fintech setting. Come join our rapidly expanding fraud operations team as we bring Bitcoin payments to the world. The successful candidate will answer related support tickets, act as an escalation point and collaborate with product and data teams to enhance fraud prevention capabilities. The role involves supporting existing fraud controls and systems in place. The ideal candidate should thrive working in a fast paced, startup environment and be excited about Strike’s mission and potential. The person joining us must be comfortable with a team-first approach in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handling fraud inquiries from the customer support team
- Ability to follow best practices for suspected fraud ticket handling
- Collaborate with other fraud operations team members using standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with the compliance and data teams on investigating fraud trends and individual account assessments
- Assessing accounts flagged in automated alerting
- Chargeback dispute handling
- Facilitating fraud audits
Requirements:
- 2+ years fintech support handling suspected fraud
- Background in KYC compliance is recommended
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- General understanding of Bitcoin, Lightning, and traditional financial products such as ACH, SEPA, FPS
US-Based Positions:
- Salary range: $60-73K. The actual salary will be determined using location and experience based data.
