For the Fraud Analyst position, we are seeking a highly responsive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to take quick, decisive action while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, analysis, and thoughtful problem-solving. This role requires balancing speed with precision — acting swiftly without compromising on the quality or depth of thought required for impactful outcomes.

The Fraud Analyst is responsible for client engagement, managing contracted deliverables, and analyzing all data streams for the relevant projects.  

 

The Fraud Analyst reports to the Director, Americas PMO, and collaborates with the other analysts as well as different business units as the projects require.  

 

This Fraud Analyst position is ideally based in person in LATRO’s Amman, JOR officeCandidates based remotely in GMT to GMT+4 time zones may also be considered.   

 

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Master a suite of proprietary analytics tools to detect and report fraud on customer networks. 
  • Continuously improve business rules and detection profile logic to maximize detection speed and detection counts, while minimizing the risk of false positive detections. 
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to investigate suspect fraud cases, including leveraging open source intelligence, if available. 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication, value-added reporting, and willingness to go above and beyond expectations. 
  • Manage, maintain, and continuously improve internal documentation, SOPs, and knowledgebase to enable team growth and scalability. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve complex issues, develop and execute on customer account strategies, and provide valuable inputs for product features and roadmap. 
  • Support other non-recurring customer deliverables (including training). 

  

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must be fluent in English (Spoken and Written). Additional fluency in Arabic, French, or Spanish strongly preferred. 
  • Must have excellent professional communication skills, including the ability to present complex solutions, strategies, and results to C-Level executive staff in-person or via web teleconference in a clear, concise manner. 
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and self-motivation. 
  • Must demonstrate and possess a bias toward action, and the ability to execute at a high-level. 
  • Must have advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in an efficient manner. 
  • Must be extremely detail oriented. 
  • Must demonstrate and possess the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks with excellence. 
  • Must have a proven track record of high performance and achievement. 
  • Must demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn new skills and technology, as needed. 
  • Must be willing to support occasional off-hours meetings for customers in different time zones. 
  • Must be proficient with a variety of productivity tools – including the Microsoft Office 365 Suite. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Data Analytics, Data Science, Intelligence Studies, or other similar fields strongly preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE and VoIP technology and associated industries strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working with a diverse, globally distributed team strongly preferred.
