Job Description

Provide financial and strategic support to directors of shared services, ensuring effective budgeting, financial analysis, and process improvement while maintaining accurate financial data and aiding in business intelligence solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Sparring partner for directors of shared services (HR, Legal & Compliance, Communications & Engagement, Security & Anti-Fraud, IT Infrastructure, Strategy & Monetization, Group Data…).
• Collaborate with the above-mentioned partners to prepare yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts, encompassing shared services P&L down to EBIT plus Capex, including the preparation of detailed workforce plans.
• Review monthly financial closings in collaboration with the Accounting department to ensure proper legal and managerial account classifications, accruals, deferrals, and asset activation.
• Build presentation content for monthly business reviews to the executive board and shareholders.
• Drive analysis of cost trends, articulate related cause and effect to central teams, and make recommendations to directors.
• Provide reporting and analysis on Group-level topics: IPCA, Payroll, HR, IT.
• Participate in project-based initiative to drive operating efficiencies in assigned subareas.
• Prepare ad-hoc business plans and recommendations.
• Continuously find opportunities to automate and streamline processes to reduce cycle time in reporting and planning
• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions in Power Bi, optimizing processes. Implemented end-to-end budgeting processes, from shared Excel input sheets to Power Bi roll-ups, along with advanced rule-based security settings.
• Partner with the Finance Systems department to develop and enhance Jedox (planning tool). E.g. drafting requirements and help set up a workforce planning module; continuous development of master data sheets to adapt to new reporting needs, etc.

Main Interaction with

• FP&A team. Directors of shared service functions, “heads of”, and specific line managers. Accounting (AP and GL teams), Finance Systems and Data teams, external BI consultants, HRBPs.
• Deputy of Teamlead Corporate FP&A.

Qualifications

• Completed business administration or finance and accounting education.
• At least 2-5 years of finance experience with exposure to areas such as Finance, Accounting, Business analysis.
• A flair for numbers and accounting, strong analytical skills and an ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
• Hands-on mentality, reliable, proactive as well as a solution-oriented way of working.
• Advanced skills in Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Think Cell. Intermediate skills in Jedox, Abacus, Power BI, SQL are an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
