The FP&A Manager will build out and lead a team of financial analysts to provide financial support, including budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis and monthly close responsibilities, to optimize decision making across all business units at e.l.f. Cosmetics. This team will primarily focus on supporting our Sales, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Operations teams. We are looking for a dependable and engaged business partner that has a track record of leading high-performing teams and is able to tackle complicated ad hoc projects and requests. Having a keen eye for process improvement is critical as our business and organization grows.


Responsibilities:

· Lead a team of FP&A analysts who are responsible for financial support of our business units, including:

· Annual budget creation

· Monthly financial forecasting

· Monthly close support, including accruals and forecast to actual variance analysis

· Purchase order management and vendor support/communications

· Ad Hoc reporting, including scenario planning and “what-if” analysis

· Prepare and maintain KPIs to assist key business leaders in measuring success against Company and Departmental initiatives

· Work closely with Accounting, External Reporting, and Tax teams to ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance

· Continue to build out a world class FP&A function across the Company as we scale


Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience leading teams of finance professionals and a history of building effective teams

· B.A./B.S. from a leading undergraduate institution with an emphasis in finance, economics, or accounting.

· 5+ years of financial analysis or public accounting experience. Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry is desirable.

· Advanced Excel skills are required, included building and automating reporting.

· Strong working knowledge of US GAAP

· Experience with SAP, NetSuite ERP or financial planning software such as Vena, a plus.

· Hardworking, strong problem-solving skills, and highly comfortable with detailed financial modeling and analytics.

· Experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.

· Proven ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth company by maintaining focus, strong organization, and time management skills.

· Solution orientated and innovative with the desire to bring ideas forward and get involved in all areas of the business.

· Excellent relationship skills, a team player with the ability to lead and inspire others.

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, and ability to perform tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

· Flexible to respond to requests and work cross-functionally.

· Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to excellence.
