PURPOSE: This role is ideal for current college or recent graduate students. This position will provide exposure to and provide hands-on experience working with a group of global and experienced business professionals within our organization.
This internship is within the US Finance Team, which consists of approximately 25 individuals who support various IQVIA Product Offerings and their leaders. Each member of the team has unique responsibilities and serves as a finance owner and partner to the business. This internship will offer a variety of projects that will strengthen the candidates fundamental understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet, analytical skills, and exposure to various functions within a corporate/commercial finance team. This internship is from late May/early June through mid-August and hybrid in King of Prussia office.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team (we partner with Operations, Sales, HR and the business leads)
• Assist with closing the books each month (Journal Entries)
• Assist with the monthly forecast & annual budget
• Exposure to SAP, Hyperion, PSA, Workday, and other financial software
• Exposure to a bottoms up corporate budgeting process. We will begin budgeting in mid-summer, the intern will play a pivotal role in helping analyze past trends and aggregating data
o Revenue budget by client and product
o OPEX budget
o FTE/Contractor budget
• Ad hoc projects (client reporting, project reporting, product reporting, etc.)
• Assist with designing and completing Service Line Review decks for senior management
• Exposure to changes within a complex organization (acquisitions, strategic reorganizations, and leadership changes)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s program – preferably focused in Finance and/or Accounting, Business
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Quick learner and highly collaborative
- Ability to work within well-defined guidelines and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Able to self-direct

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $31,900.00 - $53,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
