We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled FP&A Analyst to join our team in Amsterdam. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering financial insights and supporting strategic initiatives across our global organization. As part of the Finance team, you will report directly to the EU CFO.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing detailed analysis and commentary on monthly cost reporting.
  • Preparing monthly management reports for our Management Board.
  • Developing ad hoc financial and management reports using Business Intelligence software.
  • Building and analysing financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborating with business heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, including quarterly adjustments.
  • Maintaining management reporting allocation keys within our ERP system (experience with Workday preferred).
  • Conducting detailed analysis of purchase orders, invoices, and costs to ensure alignment with budget forecasts and management reporting standards, providing insights on variances and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Analysing trends and performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Supporting the Finance team with ad hoc reporting requests, including data-driven analysis.
  • Partnering with Finance and FP&A teams across APAC, Europe, and the USA to align processes and reporting.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant degree in accounting or equivalent experience. A CPA, CFA, or CIMA designation is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of financial reporting and processes in an international environment.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in consulting firms, banking, or large corporate environments).
  • Proficiency in developing business reporting applications (Workday, Adaptive, Qlikview, or Qlik Sense preferred).
  • Expertise in building and maintaining complex financial models in Excel or equivalent tools.
  • Leverage automation tools and advanced analytics to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for improving budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A can-do attitude with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
