We are seeking a highly skilled and analytically driven FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is looking to play a strategic role in financial planning and decision support across the business.
You’ll partner closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact financial insights. While this role has no direct reports, you’ll influence senior leadership and mentor junior staff through the strength of your thinking, technical fluency, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust financial models spanning the full set of financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Lead budgeting and long-range planning processes in collaboration with business leaders
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders
- Conduct scenario analysis and develop business cases to support strategic initiatives and investments
- Provide in-depth variance analysis and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support ad-hoc executive requests
- Collaborate with Accounting and Analytics to ensure financial data integrity and alignment
- Contribute to ongoing finance process improvement
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or management consulting roles
- Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills — including 3-statement models
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and how they integrate with forecasting
- Highly analytical, intellectually curious, and capable of synthesizing complexity
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both executive stakeholders and operational teams
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a financial analyst or in a similar analytical role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with ERP system implementation or Chart of Accounts architecture
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Exposure to inventory-based businesses, manufacturing, or consumer products

The compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000 for candidates based in Los Angeles, CA. Individual compensation is determined based on experience and skillset.
