What is this role?

The Manager of FP&A at Cirkul is responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, analysis, and forecasting to drive strategic decisions that shape the company’s growth trajectory. This individual will partner with various departments across the business to provide insightful financial analysis, lead budgeting efforts, and support long-term financial planning while ensuring financial performance aligns with Cirkul’s objectives.

What does an average day look like? 

  • Driving Results: Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and long-term financial modeling to align financial goals with company strategy. Ensure financial targets are met by consistently monitoring performance and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Taking Ownership: Own financial reporting, key metrics, and insights that inform decision-making across the organization. Lead the charge in ensuring timely and accurate financial data for senior leadership and department leaders.
  • Making Decisions: Provide actionable recommendations and strategic financial insights to senior leadership. Use data-driven analysis to guide key business decisions and mitigate risks.
  • Cultivating Relationships: Work directly with department leaders to align financial goals with operational objectives and ensure financial targets are achieved across all business areas. Drive collaboration to support decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Instilling Trust: Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting, promoting transparency and accountability. Create an environment where financial data is reliable and decision-makers can trust the information provided.
  • Customer Focus: Align financial decisions with customer needs and product delivery to enhance the customer experience. Prioritize financial strategies that support Cirkul’s customer-driven growth and operational efficiency.

What background should you have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a CPG or manufacturing environment, understands cost accounting & inventory forecasting. At least two years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where adaptability, hands-on engagement, and problem-solving are essential.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SAP, and financial planning tools.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to transform complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively engage both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central, GoogleSheets and Prophix is a plus
