What You’ll Own
- Own the monthly management accounts and month-end close process, partnering with the accounting team on accuracy and timeliness.
- Build and maintain team-level P&Ls so every pillar lead has a clear view of spend and performance against plan.
- Lead compensation and headcount modelling, partnering with People & Culture on hiring plans and their financial impact.
- Run the annual budget and quarterly reforecast cycles end-to-end, from driver assumptions through to executive sign-off.
- Review and improve financial data and reporting in NetSuite, driving automation and reducing manual effort.
- Deliver ad hoc and project modelling for strategic decisions — pricing, market expansion, business cases and scenario planning.
- Support investor and board reporting with accurate numbers and a clear narrative.
- Be the day-to-day finance partner for the business, fielding questions from leaders across every function.
- 5–7 years in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally including a high-growth tech or SaaS business.
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, or a strong quantitative background in finance, accounting or economics.
- Advanced financial modelling — driver-based operating models, scenario and sensitivity analysis, headcount and compensation planning.
- Hands-on experience with an ERP (NetSuite preferred) and modern planning or BI tooling.
- Strong command of month-end and management reporting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
- Proven business partnering skills — you can explain a variance to a non-finance leader and change what they do next.
- Comfortable with a broad remit and competing demands, prioritising across recurring cycles and ad hoc requests.
- Based in Melbourne or Sydney (or Australia-remote) with the right to work in Australia.

Skills Required
- 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance
