Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance team for the summer. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision support within a dynamic corporate environment.
The FP&A Intern will work closely with finance and business leaders to help analyze financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Help identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data and support business initiatives.
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement efforts within Finance.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information and documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, or reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, or financial planning software.
- Previous internship, work, or leadership experience.
