Founding Tech Lead (GrowthBricks)

GrowthBricks is a new project at JetMinds, backed by JetBrains, designed to give GTM teams and AI agents a shared business brain. Business context usually gets fragmented across CRMs, documents, dashboards, and people's heads. GrowthBricks brings that context together so agents and people can make decisions and execute effectively across the sales, marketing, and product stack.

As our Founding Tech Lead, you will own the technical architecture and core systems from the ground up. Working directly with the product founder, you'll tackle the core challenge of turning messy, shifting business data into reliable memory and agent actions, then measuring whether those actions deliver real results. You will shape the product primitives, write much of the early code, and decide how our technical approach evolves as we learn what works.

Day to day, you will:

• Design the core architecture across business context, agents, memory, tools, and feedback loops.
• Build agentic workflows that reason over company context and act across CRM, sales, marketing, and product systems.
• Create context extractors to process sales calls, emails, internal docs, CRM states, and campaign data.
• Work closely with prompting, context management, memory, tool choice, and orchestration.
• Connect GrowthBricks directly to the existing GTM stack rather than rebuilding existing tools.
• Decide where to leverage MCP, APIs, or open-source frameworks, and where custom solutions are worth building.
• Prototype quickly, discard weak ideas, and turn effective ones into production primitives.

• Comfort working in zero-to-one environments with high technical autonomy.
• A practical mindset that values clear, simple solutions over unnecessary complexity.
• Confidence making key architectural decisions when requirements are still evolving.
• A focus on end-user impact and willingness to iterate based on real feedback.

• Hands-on experience building, evaluating, and refining LLM applications, agents, or agentic workflows used by real people.
• Demonstrated experience designing backend systems, data models, APIs, and integrations.
• A working knowledge of context management, memory patterns, prompting strategies, and tool orchestration.
• A practical understanding of modern GTM stacks (such as CRMs, enrichment tools, or marketing automation) or sales/marketing workflows is a plus.

In your first six months, you will have moved GrowthBricks from a blank repository to a functional product with core primitives for context extraction, memory, and orchestration. Success means building reliable workflows that real users rely on daily, establishing a pragmatic codebase, and validating that agent actions produce measurable business value.

We’re looking for a hands-on Founding Tech Lead to build GrowthBricks from zero.

You’ll work directly with the product founder and own the technical side of the product: architecture, core systems, integrations, and the agent layer.

The core challenge is turning fragmented, changing business context into reliable memory and agent actions across tools and measuring whether those actions actually drive business outcomes.

You’ll write a lot of the early code yourself, make the key technical decisions, and shape the product as we learn what works.

• Connect GrowthBricks to the existing GTM stack rather than rebuilding everything around it.
• Decide where to use MCP, APIs, frameworks, or third-party tools and where a custom solution is worth it.
• Prototype fast, discard weak ideas, and turn the useful ones into product primitives.

• Are a strong hands-on engineer who enjoys zero-to-one work.
• Have built with LLMs, agents, or agentic workflows used by real people, and improved them based on failures, evaluations, and user feedback.
• Understand how context, prompting, tools, and agent behavior fit together.
• Can design backend systems, APIs, data models, and integrations.
• Are comfortable making decisions before all the answers are known.
• Prefer simple, pragmatic solutions over unnecessary complexity.

• Have worked in solution engineering, sales engineering, pre-sales, or built software for GTM teams.
• Understand the modern GTM stack: CRM, enrichment, outbound, automation, and product signals.
• Have automated sales or marketing workflows, ideally with agents or LLMs.
• Have owned a technical product from a blank repo to something people actually used.

GTM experience is not mandatory, but if you already understand how sales and marketing teams work, that is a strong advantage.
