The role:
As our Founding SDR, you’ll work closely with the CEO and Founding AE to generate pipeline from high-intent accounts and help define what great outbound looks like at Chatbase. This is not a “follow-the-script” SDR role. You’ll run experiments, iterate on messaging, and learn quickly what resonates. You’ll help sharpen our ICP, build the outbound playbook, and lay the foundation the sales team will scale on. Crush it and you’ll have a clear path to closing as an AE.

What you'll do:
Generate qualified pipeline through value-driven outbound (eg. email, phone, LinkedIn)
Target ICP accounts and build thoughtful prospecting lists
Run first-touch discovery to understand customer workflows and pain points
Maintain clean CRM hygiene and track outbound results
You are:
1–3 years in an SDR / BDR / outbound role
Highly driven and competitive, but also curious and thoughtful
Comfortable working fast in ambiguity and taking ownership
Bonus points:
You’ve worked at an early-stage startup or built outbound from scratch
You’ve used tools like Attio and Clay
