About the company

The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as the first go-to-market hire, owning new customer acquisition from first outreach through signed agreement. The work is relationship-led and field-heavy, combining networking, events and direct outbound, with room to build out a sales function over time.
What you'll do
- Work directly with company leadership to sign new customers against an ambitious monthly target.
- Own the full new-customer motion, from tapping your existing network to running outbound by LinkedIn and email.
- Guide prospects through a short sales cycle involving one or two decision makers.
- Build trust with prospects in their own communities, groups and industry conferences.
- Plan and host events and roundtables that build credibility and fill the pipeline.
- Operate independently as a hands-on founding team member and help hire and develop a sales team as the company grows.
- Track and manage the pipeline in the existing CRM and outreach tools, improving the process where it lifts conversion.
