Founding Product Manager

FINNY is a growth platform for financial advisors. We are on a mission to make great financial advice easier to find. Today, access to quality financial guidance is limited, not because advisors don’t exist, but because the right connections are hard to make when it matters. We’re fixing that with AI-powered tools that help advisors find, engage, and retain the clients they can genuinely help.

We’ve raised a pre-seed from Y-Combinator in S24 and now $17M Series A led by Venrock. We work with firms across the wealth management ecosystem, and have been recognized as a leader in fintech innovation—winning #1 at the Morningstar Fintech Showcase and being featured across the industry.

We’re based in Chelsea, NYC, building fast and ambitious systems at the intersection of data, AI, and real-world wealth services.

This is FINNY’s first Product Manager. You will work directly with the founders and own large swaths of the product surface area. This is not a feature-factory PM role, but rather an ownership role. This role is highly cross-functional and highly visible. You’ll influence onboarding, campaign systems, AI workflows, enterprise features, and more. If you want to own meaningful surface area, work directly with founders, and build something category-defining — this is that role.

• Own product outcomes: define problems clearly, propose solutions, ship quickly, and iterate based on data and customer feedback.

• Turn ambiguity into clarity: many of our biggest opportunities won’t come with clean specs. You’ll shape the roadmap, not just execute it.

• Partner tightly with engineering and design: drive product from idea → spec → launch → iteration.

• Obsess over customer success: deeply understand why advisors churn, why campaigns fail, and how to increase activation and retention.

• Balance speed with rigor. We ship fast. You’ll ensure we ship the right things fast.

• Operate at startup velocity: context switches, shifting priorities, and aggressive timelines don’t faze you.

• 4+ years of Product Management experience

• Experience shipping products in fast-moving startup environments

• Strong product judgment - you can quickly form opinions and defend them

• Experience working closely with engineering teams

• In-person, NYC (5 days/week in Chelsea office)

• You are an owner. You don’t wait to be told what to do. If something is broken, you fix it.

• You thrive in high trust / high autonomy environments. You don’t need constant oversight.
