About the Role:
As our Founding Product Manager, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for our core platform. You will be the voice of the customer, reporting directly to the COO and working closely with eye doctors to deeply understand their needs and translate them into a product roadmap that delivers immense value. This is a high-impact role where you will collaborate directly with engineering, design, and leadership to build the future of eye care technology in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do:
- Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with the overall company vision and goals.
- Talk directly with customers to understand their goals, gather feedback, and identify key pain points and opportunities.
- Translate user needs into clear, detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with a passionate, fun, and supportive team of engineers and designers to ship innovative features.
- Define, analyze, and monitor key product metrics to measure success and inform future product decisions.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring smooth execution and successful market adoption.
- Keep multiple projects organized and on track with strong time management skills.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or startup environment.
- A proven track record of shipping successful products and features from concept to launch.
- Deep customer empathy and a passion for building user-centric solutions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and work cross-functionally.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
- An extremely detail-oriented and meticulous approach to your work.
- The ability to learn new tools and adapt to changing processes quickly.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience in HealthTech, specifically with EHR, EMR, or practice management software.
- Have experience working with products for small businesses.
- Can think beyond individual deliverables and bring ideas for how we scale our product and services as we grow.
- Have a technical or eyecare background.
