Daptic is building the future of regulatory intelligence, with the mission to empower global manufacturers to navigate complex regulations seamlessly and accelerate the global launch of physical products.
With government regulations and standards becoming increasingly complex, product delays and innovation roadblocks are more common than ever. Daptic automates the identification and analysis of relevant regulations, standards, and product requirements, allowing R&D teams to focus on what they do best: creating groundbreaking products within automotive, aerospace, construction, medicine and healthcare, and beyond.
Currently, with a small focused team, we're proud to be supporting the development of products used by over 100 million people worldwide.
We've secured over $22M in total funding from Canvas Ventures, IA Ventures, 8VC, and other institutional investors who believe in our vision to revolutionize product development.
The RoleAs Daptic's Founding Product Manager, you'll own two things above all else. First, product strategy: helping determine where the product is going and, most importantly, the sequencing from where we are today to that vision. Second, the voice of the customer: living in customer conversations all day and turning what you learn into context the whole company can act on, so engineers can propose, own, and ship product initiatives without waiting on anyone.
This is a demanding role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, suited to someone who wants to own product thinking end to end rather than sit between engineering and customers relaying requests.
Core ResponsibilitiesShape Product Vision and Strategy
Take the product vision direction and articulate it clearly: the customer problems we are solving, in what order, and why.
Own the sequencing from the current product to that vision: what we build in the next cycle, the next two quarters, and the next year, and what we deliberately do not.
Research the agentic product landscape, including owning how Daptic integrates into PLM, ALM, and requirements management systems.
Facilitate short-, mid-, and long-term prioritization discussions with the leadership team and engineering leads.
Be the Voice of the Customer
Watch and read onboarding calls, check-ins, and support tickets. Attend conferences. Run additional customer research sessions as needed.
Turn a high volume of customer conversations into a small number of clear product insights, and keep them current.
Work closely with GTM to incorporate feedback from onboardings and pilots, and coordinate user outreach.
Make the Company Capable of Product Decisions
Share what you learn in a form engineers and GTM can act on, so people across the company can propose and properly own product initiatives.
Build the lightweight systems (research notes, customer context, decision records) that let product decisions happen without you in the room.
Know when you are not the right owner. Some initiatives belong to an engineer or someone on GTM; your job is to set them up to succeed.
