About the role
As our first Product Lead, you'll work directly with the founders to shape the vision, strategy, and execution of Vooma's AI-powered products. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll reimagine how AI can transform logistics operations from the ground up. You'll be the driving force behind product decisions that will define the future of freight tech and set industry standards for AI integration in logistics workflows.

Your responsibilities will include:Working closely with the founders, customers, and broader team to design and drive the product roadmap that delivers measurable business outcomes
Identifying and collaborating with designers to build frictionless user experiences for our AI-powered products
Reimagining novel product experiences that leverage the latest in AI capabilities to solve real-world logistics problems
Making difficult prioritization decisions to keep the team focused on highest-impact initiatives while acting as a productivity multiplier for engineering
Conducting deep customer discovery to understand key KPIs and build experiences that regularly measure and communicate impact and progress to customers
Building onboarding and activation experiences that tend toward self-serve with low operational overhead
Creating a product culture obsessed with simplicity, user delight, and measurable customer value
Experience designing and shipping successful B2B software products
First-principles product thinking required for new AI interaction patterns - can't just build what has come before
An AI-forward mindset and excitement about applying emerging technology to solve real problems
Direct experience in re-engineering product management workflows with AI tooling
Exceptional ability to translate customer problems into simple, delightful product experiences
Maniacal focus on designing frictionless product experiences that deliver business outcomes
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ownership mentality and ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment
Experience in logistics, freight, or B2B industries
Background working with AI/ML products or teams
Previous experience as an early product hire at a successful startup
Design experience or strong design sensibilities
Technical background or ability to deeply understand technical constraints
