At Visium, we enable enterprise executives in defining their AI & Data strategy, execute large scale transformations and implement AI across operations, ensuring their organization becomes future-proof. Born out of Visium we’re now channeling our expertise into something new: a category-defining GenAI product built to empower the next wave of thinkers, creators, and organizations. We’re not just applying GenAI, we’re pushing its boundaries.
We are building the Agentic AI Platform for Life Sciences companies - enabling pharma, biotech, and CROs to transform high-value workflows such as clinical trial documentation, regulatory submission writing, compliant marketing, and literature research. Our platform empowers both technical and non-technical users to orchestrate, build, and manage AI agents that operate safely in sensitive, regulated environments.
Design is at the heart of this transformation- bridging human intuition, compliance guardrails, and agentic autonomy. We’re on a mission to shape the future of work, creation, and knowledge. Ready to build the future of GenAI with us?
Role
You will join as our first Product Designer shaping the product experience from foundational concepts to refined interfaces. This role goes far beyond UI polish - it’s about reimagining entire workflows and making complex AI systems usable, explainable, and trusted.
You’ll own the design process end-to-end performing user interviews and workshops to develop, test and iterate personas, pain points, user flows, and wireframes.
1. Lead end-to-end design for our Agentic AI Platform
- Conduct user research, facilitate workshops, and test usability to validate design decisions and improve the user experience.
- Design intuitive interfaces for business, low-code, and high-code users across the platform — from SecureGPT chat to the Agent Builder and Workflow Orchestrator.
- Create a unified visual and interaction language that balances AI power with pharma-grade usability and compliance clarity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholder and product owners, to ensure that designs are implemented effectively and meet user needs.
2. Reimagine pharma workflows for the AI era
- Collaborate with domain experts to deeply understand clinical and regulatory writing workflows and more.
- Redesign complex, document-centric processes (e.g. CSR, CTD, MLR) into modular, agentic experiences — accelerating output while maintaining explainability and traceability.
3. Design for trust, compliance, and explainability
- Build interfaces that make compliance visible, not invisible — e.g. inline source citations, explainability, traceability and approval trails.
- Co-develop interaction paradigms for human-in-the-loop AI and multi-agent collaboration.
4. Prototype rapidly and iterate with real users
- Translate user insights from pharma, biotech, medtech and CRO contexts into user flows, pain points, and low- and high-fidelity prototypes
- Partner closely with engineers to iterate on working demos used in client pitches and co-development partnerships.
5. Shape the design culture
- Establish our design principles, workflows, and tool stack.
- Work with the latest trends in user interface design, best practices, cutting-edge tools and technologies, including AI for product design.
- Build the foundation for a future design team as we grow.
As we grow, you’ll also have the opportunity to help scale the design function contributing to our success.
Requirements
We are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally with exposure to enterprise B2B SaaS, AI tools, or data-heavy products, incl. expertise in facilitating client workshops and collaborative design sessions, user research and tests.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite or similar with experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Strong ability to translate complex systems into clear user experiences - you can turn a compliance matrix or API spec into something human.
- You are comfortable working with ambiguity and shaping zero-to-one products.
- You are driven by purpose - the chance to redesign how science and healthcare operate.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in accessibility and usability standards.
- Experience with no-code / low-code interfaces, workflow builders, or data visualization is a plus.
- Bonus: exposure to Life Sciences, Healthcare, MedTech, or other regulated sectors (but not required).
- Fluent in English, additional languages like German or French are a plus.
