We’re assembling a world-class team of researchers and engineers to solve AI’s hardest problem: making machines that can reason, remember, and learn the way humans do.

Note that this role is in-person (no hybrid), 5 days a week in downtown San Francisco.

We're looking for a versatile business generalist who thrives in early-stage environments to join our founding team. As Business Growth / Marketing lead, you'll work closely with our technical founders who are already driving business strategy but need a dedicated teammate to support multiple areas: marketing our vision, managing operations, and helping forge key relationships as we grow.

In this role, you'll:

• Help Shape Our Marketing Narrative Craft compelling stories about Letta's vision of open, stateful agents with memory that learn over time. Help translate our technical innovations into clear value propositions for developers and enterprises.

• Engage Our Developer Community Manage developer onboarding for Letta Cloud, gather feedback, and understand pain points. Build relationships with users implementing our technology across use cases from personalized tutoring to healthcare.

• Run High-Impact Operations Organize community events, coordinate external collaborations, and manage the operational details that keep our small, exceptional team moving with velocity.

• Support Enterprise Outreach Collaborate with founders on strategic enterprise relationships, help identify target customers, and support demos of Letta's Agent Development Environment.

You're a startup all-rounder excited about AI agents and driven to have a high impact in the AI revolution in a fast-paced startup environment.  

The ideal candidate combines business acumen with marketing creativity and operational excellence. You understand the AI landscape well enough to translate complex technical innovation into compelling value propositions.

You're likely to have:

• Experience in early-stage tech companies, ideally with developer tools or open-source technologies

• Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to make complex technical concepts accessible

• Marketing sense - you intuitively understand how to position products and engage communities

• Operational effectiveness - you can organize events, manage workflows, and keep projects on track

• A bias toward action and comfort with ambiguity

• Genuine interest in AI and emerging technology trends

Our team is composed of AI researchers and engineers who were previously at Databricks, Meta, Rippling, Covariant, Snorkel AI, and Together AI. We're based in San Francisco and believe creativity, community, and trust thrive in person. Expect face-to-face collaboration, team lunches, and the occasional walk-and-talk debugging session along the Embarcadero.
