About us

Lea and Jonas scaled two of Europe's leading construction tech companies - Capmo and alcemy - and saw firsthand the challenges holding the industry back. Now they're tackling the root cause: the 50% of construction work still lost to manual data handling.

Kuro is building the AI foundation for construction. We're reimagining how construction professionals get work done and make decisions by leveraging AI to augment back-office workflows and make core data accessible. We are not pursuing marginal improvements, but a step change for construction.

After one year on the market, the biggest construction enterprises in DACH with a combined annual construction volume of >€40 billion use Kuro every day to automate workflows and make faster, better decisions. We’ve built a strong base but we are only getting started. The biggest construction players in the world all at a billion revenue scale started where we are deeply embedded in the core back-office workflows. Backed by an €10 million seed round, we are going after this opportunity but we think in the age of AI you can capture 10x of that.

We are 15 people based in Berlin. You will join a group of technical ex-founders and builders who are ambitious and kind.

The Opportunity

As our Founding Key Account Manager, you'll grow and deepen relationships with Kuro's largest customers while building our key account management function from the ground up. You'll own the strategy and execution of turning customer relationships into long-term partnerships, ensuring customers realize measurable value from Kuro while identifying and driving opportunities for expansion.

You’ll work closely with Lea, our CEO & Co-Founder, as your main partner on key account strategy, and alongside our GTM, Customer Success and Product teams. Together, you’ll shape how we manage strategic accounts, unlock expansion and build lasting customer partnerships, and lay the foundation for a key account function that scales with Kuro.

What You'll Do
  • Account level: Your customers

    • Own the relationship: Become the trusted partner to C-level and operational stakeholders at Kuro’s largest customers, and build multi-threaded relationships across projects, teams and business units.

    • Own the expansion: Build strategic account plans, identify where Kuro can expand into new projects, teams, business units and modules, and run upsell deals end to end, from discovery to signature.

  • Company level: Kuro

    • Build the function: Set up Kuro’s key account management from the ground up. That means playbooks, tools, account reviews and a clear handover model with Customer Success, so expansion becomes a repeatable engine rather than a set of one-off deals.

    • Shape monetization: Define pricing and packaging together with Lea (CEO) and Leo (GTM) so customers can easily expand their use of Kuro.

    • Be the voice of the customer: Turn what you hear in your accounts into clear product priorities and new module opportunities, together with Product.

Your Profile
  • 5+ years of enterprise key account management experience, with a proven track record of growing strategic accounts and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

  • Proven experience selling complex technical products, platforms, or enterprise software to large corporations, with the ability to uncover expansion opportunities others might miss.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a track record of becoming a trusted partner to customers and delivering measurable value that earns their long-term loyalty.

  • Comfortable building from scratch in an early-stage environment, while bringing the structure, commercial discipline, and experience needed to scale a repeatable expansion motion.

  • Passion for understanding customers' businesses and workflows, with a willingness to become a domain expert in the construction industry. Experience in construction, AI, or selling into traditional industries is a strong plus.

  • Fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and navigate complex enterprise organizations. Additional European languages are a plus.
