What You'll Do
- Strategic Talent Leadership: Own overall talent strategy — including organizational design, workforce planning, and headcount forecasting across all functions; Partner with the CEO and leadership to define role structures, career paths, and compensation bands as the company scales; Translate growth goals (e.g. Series A prep) into a hiring roadmap tied to budget and business milestones.
- People Systems & Infrastructure: Implement scalable hiring systems (ATS, analytics, etc.)
- Talent Acquisition & Strategy: Develop and execute a recruiting strategy that attracts world-class talent to Clipbook; work with leadership to define hiring needs, prioritize roles, and ensure we have a strong pipeline of candidates.
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Proactively source high-quality candidates through multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, outbound sourcing, events, job boards, etc.); create compelling outreach to engage top talent.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the entire hiring process from sourcing to offer; conduct interviews, manage hiring manager relationships, and drive an excellent candidate experience.
- Hiring Operations & Process Improvement: Build and refine our hiring processes, including ATS optimization, employer branding efforts, and interview structures to scale hiring efficiently.
- Cultural Stewardship: Embed Clipbook’s values (“Hunger & Hustle,” “Always on Offense,” etc.) in the recruiting and onboarding process.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience in recruiting, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment.
- Track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent across multiple functions (engineering, sales, product, operations, etc.).
- Exceptional execution capabilities, scrappiness, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to move with urgency, operate autonomously, and make high-velocity hiring decisions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in early-stage hiring (building a team from the ground up).
- Background in tech recruiting, particularly in SaaS or AI companies.
