As a founding engineer, you’ll own features end-to-end — from how data flows through our AI pipelines to how it’s presented in the product. You’ll work closely with leadership and our product-focused founding engineer to bring LLM-powered functionality directly into clinician workflows.
You’ll:
Design and build LLM-integrated features (prompt pipelines, RAG flows, structured outputs) that run in real time inside the product.
Connect AI outputs to intuitive frontend and middle-layer experiences for clinicians.
Develop secure, efficient API layers and integrations with Supabase.
Implement real-time validation and proactive flagging in chart review and documentation tools.
Work with customer feedback to refine AI accuracy, reliability, and usability.
Collaborate on product architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and compliance.
Strong full-stack skills — comfortable in React/Next.js on the frontend and Node.js/Python on the backend.
Experience integrating LLMs into production (LLM, LangChain, VectorDB, or similar).
Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architecture, and AI-driven UX.
Comfort working in BaaS environments (Supabase/Postgres or similar).
Thrives in 0→1 startup environments, happy to ship fast and iterate.
Bonus points if you:
Have healthcare or regulated industry experience.
Worked with real-time, event-driven architectures.
Enjoy tuning both UX and AI behavior to meet user needs.
