Team Overview 

Kinetic is recruiting a driven, product-focused senior-level backend software engineer to join the founding team. We are looking for someone excited about building a well-tested, feature-rich crypto trading experience. At Kinetic, our engineering team is developing with a modern Typescript tech stack.

Qualifications

• You have 5-10+ years software engineering experience.
• You adhere to “good” code practices with a focus on readability, maintainability, and testing.
• You have a working knowledge of modern cloud infra/DevOps best practices through services like AWS.
• You have experience working with Node.js, Typescript, Python, Real time data pipelines, PostgreSQL, etc.
• You have a deep understanding of data structure, algorithm, and proficient in practical problem solving skills.
• You are a high-agency autodidact who will lead with a founder mentality as you take on full ownership of meaningful projects.
• You are crypto-native and are excited about working on the cutting edge of trading technology and building a product that you yourself would be excited to use.
• Have experience with Rust, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes/Helm.
