Founding Data and ML Engineer

In this role, you'll be seen by the team as the go-to person for most of our data pipelines and data science/ML projects. This isn't a research-focused position — the workflows you build will be used in real-life, production applications that directly impact our users and partners. Your work will play a key role in powering our platform and driving meaningful results across the board.

• Data Engineering:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop efficient data storage solutions (e.g., data lakes, warehouses) and ensure smooth data flow for AI, data science and analytics use cases.

• Data Science & AI/ML:

  • Develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models for prediction, recommendation, and optimization tasks, with a focus on Pricing, Risk Management and Catalog Management.

  • Continuously experiment and validate model performance, ensuring robustness and scalability in real-world applications.

  • Work on applied AI techniques such as natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision to enhance company products and services.
    

• Experience with programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Spark, Pandas, Polars)

• Proficiency in data science and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting).

• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Spacy).

• Passion for AI applications in fintech, sustainability, and the circular economy.

• Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud environment (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure), cloud computing and ETL.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, Seaborn)

  • Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git)
