Now, we're setting our sights on Belgium and we're looking for the person who will help us build it.

Your job

This is a founding role. As our Founding Account Executive for Belgium, you will be selling and shaping how OpenUp shows up in the Belgian market. You'll own the medium enterprise segment end to end and play a defining role in our expansion in the region.

You are responsible for the sales process from A to Z: exploring the market, building pipeline, planning and running sales conversations, and negotiating contracts to close. Because you're early, you'll have real influence over strategy, positioning, and how we win, and you'll work closely with our Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership teams to make it happen.

You won't be doing this alone. You'll be part of our European sales team, and you can count on their full support and close collaboration as you build Belgium from the ground up. Next to that:


  • You put OpenUp on the map in Belgium and build our network of B2B partnerships from the ground up.
  • You acquire new medium enterprise clients and create opportunities within existing accounts.
  • You are the face and first point of contact for customers in your market.
  • You bring the voice of the Belgian market back to the team, helping us adapt and grow smartly.
About you

  • You're from Belgium and know the market from the inside. You're based in (or happy to be based in) Antwerp or Amsterdam.
  • Approaching people comes naturally to you. You're a real networker with, or the ability to build, a strong network, ideally within HR.
  • You have at least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, HR platforms, or a high-growth startup/scale-up environment.
  • Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Salesforce are well-known names to you.
  • You have an academic working and thinking level and you are action-oriented.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, build-it-yourself environment and are a great team player.
  • You are fluent in Flemish and French and speak great English.

Skills Required

  • Based in Belgium (Antwerp or Amsterdam) or willing to be based there; deep knowledge of the Belgian market
  • At least 4 years of sales experience
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Salesforce
  • Fluent in Flemish and French and strong English skills
  • Proven networking and prospecting ability, ideally with connections in HR
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, HR platforms, or high-growth startup/scale-up environments
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality with ownership and resilience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, build-it-yourself environment
