The Role
Work directly with founders to build GTM from scratch: create and edit product demos, run personalised LinkedIn outbound campaigns, test messaging in customer conversations, produce sales enablement collateral, support customers, and generate LinkedIn content to drive pipeline.

What we're looking for

This is a rare opportunity to shape how we take Keel to market - from the ground up, working directly with the Co-Founders.

We're hiring a Founders' Associate to support our Co-Founders. You'll primarily be Benoit's (CEO) right hand on everything commercial: building the demo and content infrastructure that lives in his head, running outbound campaigns that actually resonate with operators, and learning the business deeply enough to represent it to customers.

This isn't just about supporting existing GTM processes. It's about building them. One day you're recording product demos and editing videos for LinkedIn. The next you're crafting personalised outreach campaigns or testing new messaging angles in live demos. You'll have direct line of sight to what works, why it works, and the freedom to do more of it.

If you've been looking for a role where you can actually build something rather than inherit someone else's playbook, this is it.

What you'll do

No day will truly be the same, but here’s some things we’d love you to help with:

  • Experiment relentlessly with different GTM approaches and document what moves pipeline, not vanity metrics

  • Record and edit compelling product demos - Loom walkthroughs, feature videos, use case demonstrations that show Keel solving real problems

  • Build and run personalised outbound campaigns on LinkedIn via research-driven messaging that speaks to actual operational pain points, not generic sales copy

  • Test messaging and positioning in real customer conversations, then turn what you learn into reusable collateral: case studies, battle cards, objection frameworks

  • Create sales enablement content: pitch decks for different verticals, one-pagers, comparison docs, scripts that explain ERP workflows without the enterprise speak

  • Support customers when the team hits capacity: answer technical questions, troubleshoot issues, learn what they actually struggle with daily

  • Generate content for our LinkedIn presence: distill customer insights, product updates, and industry perspectives into posts that sound like us

How you'll do it

We're building a team that's…

  • 🚀 Impatient with theory: You care about what works in practice. You test things, learn fast, and move on

  • 🎯 Commercially focused: Everything you build should help us sell better or support customers better

  • 🔄 Adaptable: One day you're editing videos, the next you're on a demo call. You move between tasks without needing extensive handholding

  • 🧠 Analytically rigorous: You think clearly, write well, and can have intelligent conversations with operations directors about inventory management

  • 🛠️ Builder-minded: You've got side projects, things you've made, evidence that you figure things out and ship them

This is a great fit if you…
  • Thrive when given broad responsibility with minimal structure. Ideally you have previous startup experience, but not explicitly required

  • Have a strong analytical background, e.g. economics, engineering, sciences, something that taught you to think clearly and solve problems

  • Have experience in working as a Chief of Staff, Founders Associate, consulting or similar (preferred but not required) - but as above, you know how to structure problems, gather insights, and communicate clearly

  • Demonstrate a DIY attitude: proof you figure stuff out rather than wait to be told e.g. side projects you've built, things you've shipped

  • Are an excellent listener and genuinely curious: you ask good questions, pick up on details others miss, and adapt quickly to new information

  • Are comfortable learning new products and tools quickly and often

  • Write clearly and with personality - you can explain complex workflows in simple terms without sounding like a sales brochure

  • Are comfortable being hands-on with content creation: recording videos, editing demos, writing copy, building decks

This won't be the right role if you…
  • Want to specialise in one function. This role is deliberately broad and will track alongside the Founders’ priorities

  • Need established processes and playbooks. We're building most of this from scratch

  • Want formal sales training or a traditional GTM career path. We're figuring out what works for us

Why Keel
  • Work directly with the Co-Founders from day one, shaping go-to-market from the ground up

  • Gain end-to-end commercial exposure

  • Learn a complex, technical product in a real industry with genuine operational problems

  • Build skills across content creation, outbound, customer conversations, and positioning - all in one role

  • Join a talent dense team where your work directly impacts pipeline and revenue

We also want to make Keel a place people truly want to work, so we're offering:

  • Competitive benchmarked salaries

  • Generous share options scheme

  • Pension

  • Life insurance cover

  • Local salary sacrifice schemes

  • £1,000/year home office budget

  • Company card for any work-related expenses

  • £1,000/year L&D budget

  • Fully flexible holidays - Minimum allowance of 33 days paid per year, and no arbitrary limit

  • Flexible time off when needed

  • Private health insurance

  • Unlimited 1:1 therapy, coaching, and mental health resources

  • Medicash health cash plan

  • Membership with Fertifa

  • Maternity, paternity, adoption or shared parental leave

  • 20 days emergency childcare a year

  • Tax-free childcare schemes

Some important things to note:

  • We're hybrid, and most people work from our office in Shoreditch an average of 3 days a week

  • We're currently not able to provide sponsorship for any of our roles

Diversity & Inclusion Statement

We're building a team of talented people from different backgrounds who bring fresh perspectives to how we solve problems. We particularly welcome applications from people who are underrepresented in tech.

We know that belonging matters. Everyone at Keel should feel they can do their best work and be themselves. We trust each other, we care about the details, and we succeed as a team.

If you're not sure whether you meet all the criteria in this role description, we'd still like to hear from you. We value potential and different ways of thinking just as much as specific experience.

Equal opportunities

We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, national origin, neurodiversity or disability status.

If you need any adjustments to our process to do your best work in interviews, just let us know. We're happy to accommodate.

One more thing: if you have a preferred name, please use it when you apply. We don't need full or birth names at application stage.

What We Do

Keel is the ERP alternative for Operations.

Frustrated that software ‘made’ them work in a way that didn’t fit their business model when running an online pharmacy (that went from 0-£100m turnover in 5 years) Keel’s founders designed and built their own Operations platform. Because while Operations might be similar in every business, it’s never exactly the same.

Instead of ‘adapting’ software to fit your business - with spreadsheets, workarounds, and integrations that don’t always work - Keel starts at the beginning. You don’t adapt what’s already there, you create what you want from the start.

Keel is the ERP alternative for Operations champions managing production, warehouses and delivery ops. Ideal if you’ve outgrown your current WMS or inventory software and are considering an ERP, we’re the (much) better alternative. Because unlike an ERP we won’t force our way of working on you. We’ll help you create whatever works for you.

On Keel you can create and run your own
- Inventory management
- Procurement
- Order management
- Fulfilment
- Warehouse management
- Production planning

>>If you’ve outgrown your current Operations setup, and don’t want the upheaval of a move to a rigid ERP, we’ve got you.
