The roleYou’ll work directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams to deploy Sapien on the ground. You’ll map workflows, configure the platform, build lightweight integrations or scripts, and ensure customers see value fast.
This is a hybrid finance, technical, and customer-facing role. You’ll be the closest person to customer workflows and a critical bridge between customers and product.
What you'll doEmbed with customer finance teams to understand their close, reporting, and forecasting workflows at a detailed, operational level.
Map and redesign processes into AI-powered workflows, identifying where Sapien can remove friction, automate tasks, and deliver measurable value.
Configure and implement Sapien end-to-end: standing up deployments, tuning models/configurations, and building lightweight integrations or scripts where needed.
Prototype and iterate quickly, turning requirements into working solutions within days and refining them directly with users.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across data, systems, and workflow logic to ensure deployments are accurate, reliable, and impactful.
Translate customer patterns into product direction, surfacing insights, repeatable needs, and high-leverage opportunities to the product and engineering teams.
3–6+ years of professional software engineering or technical solutions experience, ideally in a customer-facing role within a product-led tech company.
Hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade systems and a comfort working across data pipelines and APIs.
Ability to design, deploy, and operate reliable, secure cloud-based workflows using modern infrastructure tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to debug data issues, trace system behaviors, and quickly prototype solutions for real customer workflows.
Comfort working directly with users, gathering requirements, running live iterations, and translating ambiguous problems into clear, technical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
