Forward Deployed Engineer

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at xAGI, you will serve as the crucial link between our sales team and product development, ensuring seamless deployment of our AI assistants for enterprise customers. You will tackle technical challenges throughout the customer journey and advocate for the integration of our Vapi technology in new use cases. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management, and customer interaction skills.

• Act as the technical account owner for enterprise customer relationships post-deal closure, driving project progress during the pilot period.

• Collaborate closely with project engineers to ensure technical requirements are met.

• Define the technical scope of work for successful Vapi integration, distinguishing between essential requirements and those achievable with existing functionality.

• Facilitate communication with key stakeholders, including engineers and VPs, to ensure pilot success.

• 0-5 years of experience in a related engineering or technical role.

• Proficiency in Typescript, Node, or similar backend frameworks, prompt engineering, and using LLM agents.

• Experience in building AI assistants is a plus.

• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to customer needs.

• Organizational skills to build systems that endure.

• A startup mindset with the ability to innovate and drive projects to completion.

• Bonus: Previous experience as a technical founder of a B2B SaaS company.
