Our client is a cybersecurity company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own technical delivery and communication for important customers, spending roughly 60% of your time coding and 40% in direct customer work.
What you'll do
- Triage customer questions, bug reports, and feature requests.
- Ship fixes and incremental improvements into production.
- Develop deep product and backend knowledge to guide customer decisions.
- Run discovery on customer needs and return improvements to the core product.
- Support technical demonstrations, customer engagements, and industry events.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 2 to 5 years of relevant full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience building a product from an early stage.
- Ability to write and ship production code and make improvements from customer feedback.
- A computer science or closely related technical degree.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, or Python.
- Strong customer communication and independent ownership of ambiguous work.
Bonus points
- Previous forward deployed engineering experience.
- Demonstrable software delivery alongside a consulting background.

Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 170,000 to 250,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.08-0.2%.

Location and work model
- Five days per week onsite in San Francisco, with up to 25% travel. The role expects fast customer responses from 7 AM to 7 PM Pacific time and prompt acknowledgment of urgent requests outside those hours.
