We are seeking a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to act as an internal automation accelerator. You will embed with functional teams (Underwriting, Claims, Finance) for 2–4 week sprints to observe manual operations and rapidly deploy Agentic AI workflows for tasks like insurance policy endorsement, document processing, pre-inspection checks, and broker request triage.
Job Description:
- Comfortable in a working with business expert across different functional areas
- Likes to distill complex results or processes into simple, clear visualizations
- Explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner
- Love building things and are comfortable working with modern development tools and writing code collaboratively (bonus points if you have a software development or DevOps experience)
- Significant experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data
- Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques, agentic AI, genAI and their mathematical underpinnings, and can translate this into business implications
- Have strong project management skills
- Embed with cross-functional insurance teams to identify and map high-ROI automation or business opportunities.
- Architect and deploy agent, multi-agent workflows to handle complex, unstructured tasks.
- Integrate AI agents with production systems i.e. core insurance administration systems, email servers, and enterprise APIs.
- Establish human-in-the-loop checkpoints to ensure accuracy, compliance, and auditability.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years experience in software development process, with proven experience building production-grade LLM applications. Fresh grads are welcomed.
- AI Frameworks: Hands-on expertise with agentic orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, HuggingFace, or any other AI frameworks.
- Core Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, API integrations, Basic SQL, familiar with Database, Storage & Cloud system, and advanced prompt engineering.
- Domain Agility: Ability to translate ambiguous business workflows into technical solutions.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills to build trust and drive adoption among non-technical staff.
Skills Required
