Foreign Trade Zone Coordinator - US

OBJECTIVE:
The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Coordinator supports the US Customs Compliance team in the daily operation of Primark’s Foreign Trade Zones. The US Customs Compliance team is an integral part of the wider global Primark customs compliance function. Reporting to the Senior FTZ Manager, this role is primarily responsible for administrative duties related to operating Primark’s FTZ sites including; daily processing, filing of daily e214s, weekly estimate, weekly entry summaries, AES/EEI, CF7512s, arrival of inbonds, MDRs and other areas of FTZ daily management. Additionally, this role will routinely coordinate with Primark’s 3rd party business partners (including customs brokers, 3PLs, and FTZ management software service teams) and has involvement in other customs compliance functions such as tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin marking, audit, Partner Government Agency (PGA) reporting, etc
Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do
- Support FTZ administration and other FTZ operational tasks, including export formalities for Primark’s FTZs, in collaboration with the Senior FTZ Manager
- Adhere to and support Senior FTZ manager in maintaining FTZ operations manual
- Support for preparing FTZ filings related to import and export (such as daily admissions (e214), weekly estimates (CF3461), weekly entries (CF7501), EEI/AES, CF7512, etc.)
- Prepare and submit quarterly HMF payment
- Support the Senior FTZ Manager in managing inventory matters related to FTZ (such as overages and shortages, inventory balance, preparing MDRs, etc.)
- Maintain records in accordance with customs regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Sourcing/Buying & Merchandising, Finance etc.
- Support Senior FTZ manager in continuous improvement of FTZ operational practices
- Support Primark’s Partner Government Agency reporting (CPSC eFiling, Food and Drug Administration, Fish and Wildlife, US Department of Agriculture, Toxic Substances Control Act, etc.)
- Support Senior FTZ Manager in preparation of FTZ annual reporting (Annual FTZB Report, Annual Reconciliation, etc.)
- Support with general reporting
- Support other compliance projects as assigned by senior management

- Licensed Customs Broker preferred
- 2+ years of US customs compliance experience including knowledge of CFR Title 19 and tariff classification preferred.

The pay range for this role is: $66k to 99K
