Team Description:
The team provides comprehensive operational services to the Investment Bank's Foreign exchange business. The department is very fast moving, with ever increasing volumes, there is always an opportunity to learn, increase knowledge, to take on more responsibility and where staff excellence is recognized through reward and promotion. As a Trading Lifecycle Associate II you will responsible Managing the Investigations Team, liaising with our clients, product partners, processing teams and multiple other internal teams. This position includes performing key controls as well as providing the best quality client service to our clients and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Day to day responsibilities involve managing failed settlement (nostro breaks)
- Ensuring that all payments are settled correctly, and any breaks are followed up on a timely manner.
- Identifying and investigating any root causes
- Establishing an excellent relationship with internal partners and external clients
- Participating in process improvement initiatives
- Ensure that any issues are escalated to the team leader within an appropriate time frame
- Working with the above groups to quickly and efficiently resolve client issues.
- Generating manual SWIFT payments
Requirements
- FX experience is desirable, although not essential
- Experience in an operational / financial services / customer services environment.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload whilst working as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, experience of building relationships a desirable quality.
- Take ownership and display the ability to follow through with departmental objectives whilst taking into account risks involved in daily processing.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, detect anomalies, and propose effective solutions.
