WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a Footwear Costing Analyst to join our Converse Footwear Costing team based in North Vietnam. This is a high-impact, factory-based role that enables cost transparency and drives data-driven decision-making across the product creation lifecycle.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements, cost drivers, and business targets, while partnering with factory teams to ensure timely and accurate cost analysis. More importantly, you will proactively identify and execute cost optimization opportunities that directly influence product profitability.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Footwear Costing, Product Development, Engineering, or related areas; a background in Finance is a plus.
Demonstrated strong analytical and numerical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex, detailed data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the confidence to present findings to diverse audiences.

Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs, with the capability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will partner closely with Converse functional teams across Product Creation, Engineering, Material Sourcing & Management, Delivery & Capacity Management as well as with Converse Headquarters (HQ) stakeholders. Externally, you will collaborate daily with leadership and operational teams at our North Vietnam factory partners, building strong working relationships on the factory floor.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
If this is you, you will spend most of your working time in factory (Factory-based role) setting and play a critical role in managing product cost throughout the product creation lifecycle.
Provide day-to-day cost expertise during product creation cycles, actively managing cost drivers within Cost Breakdown (CBD) sheets through detailed review of technical specifications, cost documentation, and manufacturing processes to ensure costs are accurate and competitive.
Ensure Free On Board (FOB) is submitted on time with accurate data, strictly following required timelines and milestones, while supporting additional cost analysis and reporting as needed.
Lead seasonal deep-dive analysis on product cost, identifying key drivers and variances, consolidating costing insights, and sharing findings to support informed decision-making.
Identify, document, and scale costing best practices across factory partners to drive consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Lead and facilitate cost optimization activities with internal and factory partners, with a focus on high-volume and high-impact models.
Support the evaluation of factory Costing performance, provide data-backed feedback and coaching to enhance capability, and contribute to partner performance reviews including Monthly Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and capability assessments.
Support manager & functional lead in identifying opportunities to improve costing processes, standardize ways of working, and enhance overall efficiency and data quality.
