The System Integration Specialist is responsible for integrating and customizing Nokia solutions and third-party platforms to fulfill specific customer requirements. This includes creating, deploying, and integrating systems that support rating, charging, and provisioning of new services in alignment with the operator’s service integration and business management processes.
The role spans multiple domains and business groups (BGs) and is typically not customer-facing. It requires strong leadership to guide the local customer engineering team in delivering Fixed Networks (FN) projects with high quality, on schedule, and within allocated budget.
Responsibilities• Build up knowledge in FN products (GPON, XGSPON, AMS, Lightspan, Altiplano, Wifi Beacons, etc)
• Smooth execution of new product introduction, customer acceptance testing, network integration, upgrade/retrofit and field trial/demos
• Work with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve product defects and new feature requirements
• Prepare and deliver project progress reports, customized documents (MOP)/presentations for technical activities and clarifications of critical issues.
• Complete the project closure and / or handover as required.
• At least 3 years' experience working for a telecom provider or telecom System Integrator
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/Technology/Network Engineering or equivalent education
• Good knowledge in xPON technologies, IP routing, Linux System Management
• Proven ability to work independently, deploying, testing and troubleshooting systems
• Familiarity with networking test tools (Spirent Test Center, IPerf, Wireshark, etc)
• Good to have knowledge in OSS/BSS integration, SNMP, SDAN, Netconf/Yang, Cloud Computing and script development
• Able to learn new technology quickly and always able to adapt to changes
• Good in sharing knowledge and support others with strong expertise and technical insight
• Experienced in handling customer requirements and identifying possible solutions
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, troubleshooting and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
