Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First Line Product and Quality Manager (Level K) to join the Field Quality Team in Everett, WA. This position is available for 3rd shift.
This position requires a critical thinker with strong business acumen, who is passionate about coaching, and eager to drive cultural change within the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations
- Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
- Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
- Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and safety
- Acquire and manage resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
- Inspire, develop, and motivate employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 1+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
- Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- A&P license
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams within a Quality Management environment
- 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
- Solid business acumen with a proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies
