Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Flight Line Group Coordinator Manager to join our 787 Dreamliner Program based in North Charleston, SC on variable shift.
As a Flight Line GC Manager, you won't simply oversee production and paint operations-you will inspire people, build high-performing teams, and directly contribute to delivering world-class airplanes that redefine what's possible.
Position responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire frontline manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Execute daily production plans that bring the 787 Dreamliner to life
- Build strong partnerships with Customers, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to solve complex challenges
- Develop and coach teammates to unlock their full potential and build future leaders
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and operational excellence tools
- Foster a culture grounded in safety, quality, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship
- Help position Boeing South Carolina for continued growth, innovation, and production rate increases
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience
- 5+ years of experience of leadership or management experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
- 5+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Velocity, Cognos and BPI-2404 Hazardous Energy Control Program (HECP)
- Knowledge of major milestones (sequence and requirements, specifications, Redars, IVT, SAT, etc)
- Understanding of various functions roles, responsibilities and processes to resolve airplane build constraints efficiently and effectively
- Experience leading hourly employees in a production environment
- Proven track record of implementing Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree or higher

Summary pay range: $111,350 - $150,650
