We’re currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter to join our workshop team in Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities
Install and inspect new and used cranes and hook loaders
Fabricate and install subframes from design through to manufacture
Complete installations to Palfinger’s high standards
Perform service and maintenance on vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
Accurately complete all job documentation
Maintain a safe working environment and follow site policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in a similar industry
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
Experience working on heavy vehicles
Strong fabrication and welding skills
Familiarity with cranes and/or hook loaders (advantageous)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proven ability to work safely and manage time effectively
Competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Current driver’s licence (HR preferred)
