Job Description- Assemble, install, align, and fit mechanical components, pipes, structures, and equipment as per drawings and specifications.
- Perform fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting activities on construction and industrial projects.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical sketches, and work instructions.
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical parts and equipment.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and positioning of components during installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Report equipment defects, material shortages, and technical issues to supervisors.
- Coordinate with welders, fabricators, mechanics, and other trades to complete work efficiently.
- High School certificate, ITI, Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Fitting trade.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Fitter in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or oil & gas projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication details.
- Experience with mechanical installation, fabrication, and maintenance works.
- Familiarity with tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment.
- Good knowledge of safety procedures and site practices.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
- Mechanical fitting and assembly skills.
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
