What’s the role?

As a S/4 HANA E2O/I2M Solution Consultant Americas Hub, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Inc. Show case your skills and experience with process enhancement by designing and implementing advanced S/4 HANA solutions. This individual is tasked with the development of functional and technical solutions across multiple projects within the Idea to Market and Engineering to Order domains. The position requires a deep understanding of the SAP landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex business requirements to deliver high-quality, integrated SAP solutions.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Develop and implement functional and technical SAP S/4HANA solutions, focusing on the Idea to Market (I2M) and Engineering to Order (E2O) processes, ensuring seamless integration with satellite systems and alignment with business and IT requirements.
• Lead the coordination and direction of development work towards global development factories, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within scheduled timelines.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP best practice architectures and technologies, providing essential support to deployment teams and enhancing solution development capabilities.
• Advocate for process standardization, challenging deviations when necessary to maintain solution integrity and alignment with SAP best practices.
• Ensure compliance with established architectural principles and standards, maintaining consistency and quality across all solutions.
• Oversee the review and approval process for configuration and functional specification documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Facilitate comprehensive testing activities, including bug-fixing coordination, to guarantee the reliability and performance of deployed solutions.
• Provide essential support during cutover, migration, and hypercare phases, ensuring smooth transitions and stabilization of the Idea to Market and Engineering to Order process domains.

Do you qualify?

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solution consultant or architect in SAP transformation projects, particularly within the Idea to Market (I2M) and Engineering to Order (E2O) domains.
• Demonstrated capability in designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions, including cloud integration and working with third-party systems.
• Extensive experience and deep understanding of global template processes, especially within the I2M and E2O domains.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in SAP, project management, or specific to the domains of I2M and E2O.
• Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Nice to Haves:

• Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional professional certifications related to project management, SAP, or specific to the I2M and E2O domains.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a multinational environment, demonstrating effective project management and leadership skills.
• Expertise in cloud solutions and their integration with SAP S/4HANA, showcasing a strong background in the technical aspects of SAP implementations.
• Proficiency in employing project management tools and methodologies to ensure the successful execution of projects.

The annual pay range for this position is $130,000 – $150,000.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
